The Electric Squeezebox Orchestra will continue its second Sunday residency at the California Jazz Conservatory in 2022!  The band will take a break in December, but will return on January 9th, with Sheldon Brown leading the band that night.  The shows will also be live-streamed.

ESO

This Sunday the ESO will play its last Sunday of the fall residency, and will feature guest vocalist Kalil Wilson.  Come check out the band before it takes a two month hiatus before returning to the residency in February.

ESO will be joined by poet Avotcja this Sunday at the CJC's Rendon Hall.  The Stanford Jazz Workshop's Miles Ahead Combo will open the show at 4:30pm, with the ESO playing from 5:30-7pm.

The ESO is back at the CJC this Sunday with the opening band of the newly formed California Jazz Conservatory's Jazz Orchestra (a 17 piece big band as well), also directed by ESO frontman Erik Jekabson.  

The ESO features vocalist Kalil Wilson this Sunday at the CJC, in preparation for their performance at the Monterey Jazz Festival next Sunday Sept. 29th.  

We're starting up our fall residency this Sunday at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley.  We'll be there most Sundays until December, featuring opening bands at 4:30pm and the ESO at 5:30pm.  This week the Jeanes Brothers Quintet opens up for us.  Some special shows on the horizon: we will have special guest vocalist Kalil Wilson joining us on Sept. 22nd and special guest poet Avotcja joining us on Oct. 27th.  

The ESO will be playing at the Monterey Jazz Festival on Sept. 29th, 2:30pm on the Garden Stage.  The band will have guest Vocalist Kalil Wilson with them.
